Update on beet cyst nematode project is nearly finished. Currently the future development of H. schachtii at increasing temperature is one topic. The link of hyperspectral reflectance data to nematode population density is established. For more details follow the Heterodera schachtii link.

The project gets a new design.

New in 2021, Nemaplot summarises its skills in parameter estimation problems of ODE's. Since last year we can use the Excel Solver for fitting models by numerically solved ODE's. How to do that and for more details follow the Parameter estimation link.

Supported by Bundesministerium für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft by decision of the German Bundestag Nemaplot is currently partner of the Hypall research project. The objectives are, beside the verification of the finding and results of the analysis protocol of hyperspectral data of Heterodera schachtii in cooperation with the JKI Elsdorf, to extend the protocol to the the specific situation of the potato cyst nematode Globodera pallida. Parts of the requirements are the construction of related Leslie processes and the development of ODE's models for the description of potato canopies dynamics. Some basics of this project will be derived from the special chapter parameter estimation of ODEs. Hypall is coordinated by the JKI Braunschweig. The project is funded from the 1st of November 2021 up to the end of 2024.
